Sarath Champati Lead trainer & advisor for Karnataka eco-tourism board (Festival Curator)

A wildlife enthusiast for the past 30 years, Sarath has travelled extensively in India and to about 25 countries in pursuit of wild animals including to both the Poles. He has hands on experience of guiding many prestigious wildlife groups. Sarath has been the Chief Naturalist for Jungle Lodges and Resorts and also for Taj Safaris at their resorts in South Africa and Madhya Pradesh. He loves to trek and has climbed Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa besides extensive trekking in the Himalayas. He has a special interest for birds and has travelled to all the continents in the world in search of them. He is a regular speaker in many ecotourism workshops and also given a few TED Talks. He served on the Madhya Pradesh Ecotourism Board and currently is the Lead Trainer for the Karnataka Ecotourism Board.He is the Founder Member of Ecotourism Society of India. He is also the Honorary Wildlife Warden for Mysore District.
