Sangeetha Kadur loves to explore the mysteries of the natural world through the medium of art. Both these passions, nature and art, come together in her exciting career as a wildlife illustrator. She has worked on a series of commissioned projects for various wildlife organisations. Her two recent art publications include, ‘Wildlife in a city Pond’ for Pratham books and ‘Butterflying in SGNP’, a butterfly guide book for Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Her illustrations have been nominated as finalists in the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year in 2009 and 2012. Driven with a strong urge to share her passion for creating art from natural history, she co-founded “GreenScraps”, a nature journaling workshop, with which she hopes to inspire a new generation of passionate nature artists.
